End-User Guide > Application Processing > Origination > Pulling Credit > Event Processing and Decisioning |
Through Event Processing, credit report processing may be a completely transparent process. If events and actions are responsible for processing, users are not required to complete the Credit Reporting screen or panel to kick off the process.
Credit Report processing may be tied to events, such as the completion of a field, adding a collection (of applicants), or the completion of a screen. The events that trigger credit report processing are specified by the administrator. For more information on pairing events and actions, refer to the Event Processing topic within the Administrator Guide.

The events that trigger the credit report processing can vary. Refer to your institution’s policy and procedures for information on the events that trigger credit report processing. |
If a credit report has not been pulled prior to submitting an application to decision processing, the Account Origination module automatically initiates credit report processing, unless the option not to pull credit has been configured and selected for the current application.
